Wauchope RSL Staff Donate $520 to Riding for the Disabled

Giving Back to Our Community

Giving back to our community is something we’re incredibly proud of at Wauchope RSL. Recently, our staff presented a donation of $520 to Riding for the Disabled (RDA) – a local organisation doing incredible work to support members of our community.

The donation came about through a simple but meaningful initiative. Each week, staff voluntarily contribute a dollar or two from their wages, with the accumulated funds going to a local organisation chosen by the team. It’s a small gesture that adds up to something truly significant over time.

A Team Effort Worth Celebrating

What makes this initiative so special is that it’s entirely driven by the staff themselves. There’s no obligation – just a genuine desire to make a difference in the local community. That kind of generosity speaks volumes about the people who make Wauchope RSL such a welcoming place.

Riding for the Disabled provides vital support to people of all ages and abilities, using the therapeutic benefits of horse riding to improve the lives of those in our community. The work they do is invaluable, and contributions like this help them continue their important programs.
