Local History Night – Thursday 7th May

Come along to Wauchope RSL for a fascinating evening celebrating local history. The Local History Night is presented by the Wauchope Historical Society, celebrating their outstanding work in preserving local history, and hosted by Wauchope Lions Club.

Doors open at 6pm, with finger food served from 6:30pm and the presentation beginning at 7pm. Tickets are just $10 per person, which covers food on the night.

What’s On the Night

The evening features a range of displays and presentations including the history of timber and local mills, a Timbertown Theme Park video, photos, displays and timber memorabilia, and model trucks and heritage items. It promises to be a rich and engaging look at the region’s past.

Guests are also encouraged to bring along their own timber-related memorabilia to display on the night – a wonderful opportunity to share a piece of local history with the community.
