Local History Night at Wauchope RSL – Thursday 7th May

April 21, 2026

Local History Night with Wauchope Historical Society

Join us at Wauchope RSL on Thursday 7th May for a special Local History Night, presented by the Wauchope Historical Society in celebration of their outstanding work preserving the stories and heritage of our local community.

Hosted by Wauchope Lions Club, the evening kicks off with doors opening at 6:00pm, finger food served at 6:30pm, and the main presentation beginning at 7:00pm. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow community members and learn more about the history that shaped the Wauchope region.

What to Expect on the Night

The evening will feature a fascinating look at the history of timber and local mills – a significant part of Wauchope’s heritage. You’ll also get to enjoy a Timbertown Theme Park video, along with photos, displays and timber memorabilia that bring the past to life.

Model trucks and heritage items will also be on display, making it a wonderful night for history enthusiasts and curious community members alike. If you have your own timber-related memorabilia, bring it along to share and display on the night.

Entry is $10 per person, which covers the cost of finger food on the night. Places are limited, so be sure to RSVP by Tuesday 28th April to secure your spot.
